OUR PRIVACY STATEMENT

Laser Medical B.V., Haverstraat 35, 2153 GB Nieuw-Vennep, processes personal data carefully in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This statement applies to our webshop and communication with customers and business contacts.

What personal data do we collect?
We process data that you provide to us, such as your name, address, email address, phone number, business details, and information about orders, payments, and requests. When using the webshop, technical data may also be processed, such as your IP address, browser, and cookie preferences. We receive information about payments and delivery through payment and shipping services.

What do we use this data for?
We use data to process orders, deliver products, answer questions, and handle quotes, demos, courses, lease requests, returns, and service.

We do this to perform an agreement or to process your request for that purpose. For business contacts, we use our legitimate interest to manage the customer relationship. For invoices and tax records, a legal obligation applies. For necessary security and fraud prevention, we use our legitimate interest in providing secure services.

For newsletters, we use your consent, unless the legal provision for similar offers to existing customers applies. You can always easily unsubscribe. Data necessary to fulfill your request or order is indicated in the relevant form.

With whom do we share data?
We share relevant data with service providers necessary for our services, such as Shopify, payment services, MyParcel, and carriers. For a lease request, necessary data may be shared with the relevant financing company. Our administrative and technical service providers may also process data. We make the required privacy agreements with processors.

Our webshop runs on Shopify. Shopify processes data when you visit the webshop or make a purchase. If Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify may use data about interactions with our store, other stores, and Shopify for additional services, including personalization and advertising. Where required, this is done with consent.

Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the required legal safeguards apply, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or binding corporate rules. Use of cookies
We use cookies for essential webshop functions, such as the shopping cart and remembering preferences. If we use analytical or marketing cookies that require consent, we will ask for it in advance. You can change your choice via the cookie preferences. You can delete or block cookies through your browser.

How long do we keep data?
We keep data for as long as necessary for your order, request, service, warranty, or any legal claims. We keep request data for as long as necessary for processing and follow-up questions; newsletter data for as long as the applicable legal basis applies. We generally keep tax data for seven years, or longer when required by law. This does not automatically apply to all your data.

Security and your rights
We take appropriate measures to secure personal data. To the extent provided by law, you can request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or transfer of your data. You can also object and withdraw consent. You can always object to direct marketing.

Send your request to info@lasermedical.nl. We will generally respond within one month. Legal retention obligations may mean that we are not allowed to delete certain data immediately. You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via https://www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl or another competent supervisory authority.
